  • Luxembourg and EU data protection rules
  • how to make their organisation compliant
  • practical issues and situations, and impact in terms of internal organisation
  • Applicable EU (GDPR) and Luxembourg (Law of 1 August 2018) rules
Programme
  • Data protection key concepts and principles

  • How to comply and demonstrate compliance

  • How to handle data subjects’ rights

  • How to manage third-party risks (e.g. with processors, partners)

  • How to manage personal data breaches

  • Setting up an efficient governance (DPO, internal contact points)

  • Monitoring of employees at the workplace

  • International data transfers

  • Role of the Luxembourg data protection authority (CNPD)

  • Legal aspects of data security and privacy-by-design
